Analyzing user profiles, or How players choose games

Some are trying to get some adrenaline, others come for the opportunity to test their carefully crafted intelligent strategies.Players in the iGaming industry are very different. It is absolutely necessary for companies to understand their customers - only in this way it will be possible to provide interesting and competitive options in a rapidly changing world and furious competition. So: what is the main motivation? What are the similarities and differences between different players?

Fans of speed and quick reactions

Games in the field of iGaming rarely require the same attention and reactions as computer games. This is what makes the field different from cybersports.Nevertheless, one important profile among players are those who seek a fast and vivid experience.

These people do not seek to build complex strategies, calculate moves. But they dream of getting "everything at once". For them, for example, slots are suitable, especially since modern titles add a lot of bright animations, quickly changing figures or backgrounds - what fans of "speed" come for.

Basically, they are the ones who choose classic slot machines and slots. But they are now looking for powerful visual experiences.Just winning and getting paid is not enough. The biggest jackpot will impress this contingent of users much less than one that will be accompanied by a riot of colors and animations on the screen.

They are also very fond of crash games.Another peculiarity: quick cash-out.  Players tend to withdraw money immediately, they do not like having to wait.

Of course, these are primarily young players. The profile of users - from 18 to 30 years old, usually people from big cities, accustomed to an active pace of life.

Fans of live games

There are several groups here, and they are quite different. First of all - these are those who like to strategize. They do not like to play against "soulless machines", but to measure intelligence with a real live croupier, a representative of the casino - another thing. They prefer more complex games such as blackjack or even poker. They like to interact not only by discarding cards, but also by socializing and seeing their interlocutor. Even in virtual casinos, they prefer games with live opponents and croupiers, so there should always be similar options.Age: usually over 30 years old, more often men.Another group is young people who want the most up-to-date gaming experience. Young people like "live" games, contact with people, combined with augmented reality and other novelties.

Those who wish to "relax"

In this category are "traditional" gamers. For example, those who used to buy lottery and scratch cards. And also preferred simple and obvious games like bingo. Most often in this category are women over fifty years old.

They switch from ordinary lotteries, which they purchased on the way, in the supermarket or local store, to virtual ones.Or they opt for bingo. All these games don't have to be complicated, because relaxation enthusiasts don't come for complex thinking or high speed. They just want to have a good time. And if to the fun will be added to the chances to win - great.

By the way, this category almost never makes large bets. This is worth keeping in mind.

Sports fans

This category is pretty straightforward to deal with. They are fans of sports betting. Most often, they are well versed in sports games, know the players, teams. That is, in principle, have always been fond of their favorite soccer, watched matches in the evenings in a bar or at home, and then decided - why not make money on what I know well?

They can make big bets, but only if they are sure that "their" team or players will win. Activity increases during major sporting events - sports cups, Olympic Games, etc.

For the online casino operator it is extremely important to know the types of players. This will help to create a decent selection and variety. That is, to attract more customers, increasing the earnings of the institution itself.
