Six myths about roulette that you should stop believing in
There are myths surrounding every game. Roulette is one of the examples, as it has existed for quite a long time and is very popular all over the world. Of course, players come up with various legends. But most of them have nothing to do with reality. Let's deal with which myths it is high time to put an end to.
The result of the spin is predetermined
Many players prove that the ball is ruled only by the theory of probability. They believe that spins somehow interact with each other. Entire strategies are built on the basis of these theories. Of course, probability theory is pure math, so the strategies have a right to life. But the results of the spin are still subject only to random events.
After black always comes red
And vice versa. In fact, this is not necessary at all. If you turn to statistics, there are an equal number of black and red sectors on roulette. Plus one or two zeros. Yes, if we rely on the theory of probability, then after the fall of red increases the chance of black and vice versa. But "always" is too loud a statement. Take a coin and experiment with the eagle-slash. The principle is the same.
You can buy some "secret strategy"
This myth is not harmless. It is actively used by scammers, encouraging gamblers to buy supposedly "win-win" strategies for huge sums of money. The result is clear: no "secret button", no universal way to win. Lost funds - nothing more. All working strategies are available for free on the Internet, but if the author of the approach is honest, he will never claim that the strategy works 100% of the time.
You have to play a certain roulette to win
The only rational grain: choose European over American. The difference is that the zero sector is one, while in the American one, there are two. That is, there is a double chance that all bets will simply go to the casino income. All other roulette tables are the same, and what's more, they undergo special certification for balance, weight, and wheel setting to completely "randomize" the results.
The croupier controls the ball
This myth has been the cause of more than one conflict. People believe that the croupier is somehow able to influence the results. And even attack innocent casino employees. In fact, the croupier just hands out chips, starts roulette, and then can not affect the result. Therefore, do not make claims to the employee.
It's easiest to play without a strategy
This myth is related to the fact that players get frustrated with supposedly "win-win" approaches. And decide to bet as they please. But this is just as much of a mistake as believing that a strategy is sure to win. The best approaches are based on mathematical probabilities, which can really be calculated, although not with a hundred percent accuracy. Therefore, making random bets is not recommended.
In addition, remember: real roulette and virtual roulette are absolutely the same in principles and results. The difference is only in the physical presence.
