The Arizona Department of Gaming has revealed its intention to open the application process for at least two bookmaker licenses in early February. These licenses will be specifically for coverage and betting on two sporting events – Arizona Tribes and Arizona Sports.
Interested parties can submit their applications during the designated window, which will close on March 4th. This move comes after the department's announcement in June 2023 about accepting applications for competition-specific betting permits. In August of the same year, the regulator granted bet365 an event betting operator license, representing the Ak Chin Indian community.
