The Russian bookmaker "Baltbet" is planning to enter the Latin American market, according to Pavel Stepanov, the head of the company's analytics department.
Stepanov noted that sports are very popular in the region, and there is practically no competition from Russian companies. He suggested that "Baltbet" could open its doors to Latin American countries "within a year to a year and a half." Stepanov also reminded that other countries have "their own legislation, their own licenses."
Currently, the top of the ranking of the best bookmakers in the region includes companies like Bet365, 1XBET, and Betwinner. All of them were nominated for the Sigma Awards Americas 2023. 1XBET has won the affection of bettors in Brazil, Chile, and Peru.
