The management of the Lithuanian Basketball Championship (Betsafe-LKL) has announced plans to integrate artificial intelligence (AI) tools for real-time match data collection. Developed by Genius Sports, the Insight program will analyze gameplay and provide essential information for athletes and bettors alike.
The AI system will enhance live broadcasts by integrating online infographics and creating new sponsorship opportunities for league partners. Full implementation of the technology in stadiums is slated for the 2024/2025 season.
