The variety of sports betting operators in Washington, D.C. has grown. DraftKings has revealed plans to introduce its platform in this newly competitive market.
DraftKings currently operates its services in 29 North American jurisdictions.
“We want to thank the D.C. Council for paving the way for bringing best-in-class DraftKings sportsbook to the nation's capital,” said DraftKings North America President Matt Kalish.
It's worth noting that DraftKings will join FanDuel, BetMGM and Caesars Sportsbook, which have already launched throughout the DC area. The last two operators began working in the capital on July 17.
