Fanatics Sportsbook, a leading bookmaker operator, has inaugurated its services in Arizona, marking its presence in the 18th US region. The move comes as part of a strategic partnership between Fanatics Holdings subsidiary and the Tonto Apache Tribe, granting access to the Arizona market for its online betting platform.
Arizona sports enthusiasts can now access the Fanatics Sportsbook app on their iOS or Android devices. Additionally, plans are underway to establish a brick-and-mortar sportsbook at the Mazatzal hotel-casino, scheduled to open this summer as part of the collaboration with the Tonto Apache Tribe.
This expansion follows Fanatics' acquisition of PointsBet's US business earlier in 2024, which involved the transfer of all remaining US sports betting operations. Ari Borod, Director of Fanatics Betting & Gaming Business, highlighted Arizona's rich sports landscape, spanning baseball, hockey, and golf, positioning it as an ideal market for one of the most lucrative online sportsbooks.
