FanDuel's Odd Bet: Taylor Swift's Super Bowl Proposal Odds

A Canadian branch of the sports betting operator and online casino FanDuel has introduced a unique wager for players, allowing them to bet on the possibility of superstar Taylor Swift getting engaged to Kansas City Chiefs football player Travis Kelce during the upcoming Super Bowl competition in Las Vegas. The betting options include "yes" and "no," with initial odds of +1.4 for the former and -17 for the latter.

The odds have been fluctuating since the bet was launched. Sports blogger Stephen Hastie highlighted the novelty of betting on a wedding during the American Football Super Bowl, a first in this context. The NFL Super Bowl is scheduled to take place in Las Vegas in February, and Taylor Swift, a 34-year-old American singer, has been romantically linked with football player Travis Kelce for several months.
