Media corporation Flutter Entertainment has finalized its initial deal to supply an omnichannel betting platform to the French company Pari Mutuel Urbain (PMU). Under the agreement, PMU will gain access to Flutter's B2B products, along with continued event management, fixed-rate pricing, and risk management services.
This deal, concluded in February, expands upon a partnership initiated in 2010. Flutter's management highlighted that PMU stands to benefit from the platform's investment, with Flutter providing system implementation support for the French bookmaker.
Emmanuel Vacher, Commercial Director at PMU, expressed the company's goal to leverage Flutter to establish a leading bookmaker for sports events and horse racing, capturing a significant share of the French market. In the realm of sports betting, PMU aims to streamline the management of betting architecture, allowing a focused effort on marketing initiatives.
