Genius Sports and the International Betting Integrity Association (IBIA) have joined forces to combat match-fixing through a new partnership.
The agreement involves sharing information and leveraging Genius' technology resources to enhance efforts in preventing match-fixing globally.
Simon Martin, Genius' Director of Integrity and Compliance, believes that collaboration is crucial in the fight against match-fixing.
“Our partnership with IBIA will provide us and our partners with greater transparency into global betting patterns, helping to identify and prevent inappropriate behaviour by players or bookmakers,” said Martin.
IBIA CEO Khalid Ali also expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, highlighting the combination of both companies' expertise in sports technology and betting.
