In the US, 5 individuals were arrested for fraud and theft at casinos

In Pennsylvania, five criminals were apprehended by law enforcement agencies in connection with fraudulent activities at Live! Casino Philadelphia. Officials reported that four of the individuals were guests at the casino, while the fifth was an employee working as a dealer. The casino suffered a loss of $170,000 as a result of the illegal actions.

The suspects have been charged with fraud and theft, according to information provided by the Pennsylvania State Police as reported by the local press. Varying penalties for these crimes across different states in the United States are primarily due to differences in laws and regulations related to gambling, which can vary significantly from one state to another.

The punishment also depends on the amount of money obtained through fraud. That is, the perpetrators can be charged with either a misdemeanour or a felony.

Law enforcement agencies conducted an investigation, revealing that the fraud scheme was quite straightforward. The Philadelphia State Police reported that the dealer was manipulating the game to ensure certain players' success. These players would then compensate the dealer with a "reward" outside the casino.
