Aristocrat, a prominent player in the gaming industry, has finalized its acquisition of NeoGames and introduced its latest venture, Aristocrat Interactive, focusing on real money gaming.
The acquisition, valued at $1.2 billion and initiated in May 2023, garnered approval from NeoGames shareholders during their second meeting on April 25, with the majority endorsing Aristocrat's takeover bid. Earlier this month, regulatory authorities also greenlit the transaction, as confirmed by the holding's press service.
Moti Malul, former CEO of NeoGames, assumes leadership of Aristocrat Interactive, maintaining his position within the company hierarchy and reporting directly to Aristocrat CEO Trevor Crocker. Crocker expressed optimism about the acquisition, emphasizing its strategic significance in consolidating Aristocrat's position as a premier gaming platform in the online gambling sector. The integration of NeoGames into the Aristocrat portfolio aligns with the holding's overarching strategy to expand its global reach and enhance its capabilities within the gaming industry.
