Betfirst, a sports betting and gaming operator, has introduced an online casino in Belgium through a partnership with Middelkerke.
This collaboration was facilitated by the parent companies of both entities – Betfirst is under Betsson, while Middelkerke is part of Groupe Partouche. The online casino has secured an A+ license, and Betfirst aims to establish itself as the leading gambling operator in Belgium.
Alexis Murphy, the company's CEO, emphasized Betfirst's commitment to delivering the most efficient and fastest sports betting app in the Belgian market. Betsson acquired Betfirst Group in June 2023 for €120 million.
In Belgium, different licenses are available, with A+ suitable for operating online casinos. For online bookmakers, an F+ license is required.
