Betty, a female-focused online casino brand, has raised $5 million in pre-Series A funding, led by CEAS Investments, to fuel its expansion. The funding round also saw contributions from Powerhouse Capital, Courtside Ventures, and iGaming incubator HappyHour.
Designed to cater only women exclusively, Betty focuses on transparency and community-driven gameplay. Their approach has led to significantly higher retention rates among female players compared to males. In 2023, Betty had already secured $7 million in investments, including support from HappyHour.
The latest funding will enhance user acquisition, live operations, and upgrade its proprietary platform. Betty's success in integrating mobile gaming strategies into the real-money iCasino market has been noted by Powerhouse Capital’s managing partner, Salim Mitha.
Licensed by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario, Betty debuted in Canada in February 2023, achieving a substantial net revenue growth rate since launch.
