Bloomberry Resorts Denies Plans for New Casino in Thailand

Bloomberry Resorts Corporation has refuted recent reports suggesting the company intends to build a new land-based casino in Thailand.

In an official statement, Bloomberry clarified that while the idea of legal gambling in Thailand is intriguing, the company currently has no plans for such an expansion. "There have been reports that Thailand is considering a gambling law, but we have no idea what form it will take. Of course, this is of interest, but the claim that Bloomberry confirms information that the company has plans to expand in Thailand is part of the author's speculation. There is no such plan," the statement read.

This announcement comes in response to rumors that Enrique Razon, the Filipino billionaire and head of Bloomberry, was contemplating expanding the company's operations to Thailand and had shown interest in opening a casino resort there. However, Bloomberry emphasized that their focus remains on their existing casino operations in South Korea and the Philippines.

Additionally, Bloomberry recently celebrated the opening of the new Solaire Resort North casino resort, a $1 billion facility located in Quezon City, north of the Philippine Capital Region.
