Dodgers Star Shohei Ohtani's Translator Accused of Stealing Millions for Bets

Representatives of baseball sensation Shohei Ohtani from the Dodgers have leveled accusations against the athlete's former translator, alleging that the individual embezzled millions of dollars. The allegations include clandestinely siphoning funds from Ohtani, divulging confidential information, and engaging in illicit betting activities.

In a statement issued by the West Hollywood law firm Berk Brettler, it was declared, "In responding to recent media inquiries, we have discovered that Shohei was the victim of a grand theft, and we are referring the matter to authorities."

The Dodgers swiftly terminated the employment of the translator in question, identified as Mizuhara. However, reports from local media suggest that Mizuhara was still in association with Ohtani in Seoul as of Wednesday afternoon. Efforts to reach the former translator have been unsuccessful, and it remains unclear whether legal representation has been sought.

Shohei Ohtani rose to global prominence in baseball and secured a groundbreaking 10-year contract worth $700 million with the Dodgers, following a successful six-year stint with the Angels.
