DraftKings Launches New Online Fantasy Sport Contest Pick6

DraftKings, a developer and operator of online casinos, has launched a new fantasy sports game. Residents of Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Wisconsin, and Maryland will be the first to test it.

The game consists of a series of peer-to-peer competitions. Users pay an entry fee, which the program then combines into a prize fund and distributes among the winners. The essence of the game is to choose from two to six athletes who will score more points under given conditions, such as during a football or basketball match. On average, for correctly chosen athletes for each situation, a player can win about 900 dollars.

The game falls under the fantasy sports genre — a new direction in online competitions. It’s a virtual arcade based on real events in various sports. Gamers assemble a team of athletes (even from different clubs) and try to win the match. One of the types of fantasy sports involves games with choosing athletes for specific situations based on their professional characteristics.
