Dubai Resident Becomes Millionaire with Free Lottery Ticket Win
Ashish Moholkar, a customer service manager at Takaful Emarat insurance company in Dubai, became a millionaire after purchasing three lottery tickets under the “buy two, get one free” promotion. The third, complimentary ticket, brought him victory, winning him 15 million dirhams (about 4 million dollars).
The new millionaire mentioned he would decide how to spend the money after consulting with his wife and mother.
The promotion also made ten other people winners, including citizens of Palestine, Nepal, and India, who shared prizes totaling 590,000 dirhams.
The Big Ticket lottery was established in 1992 and has made many people millionaires over the years with its frequent draws. For instance, the winner of the next draw on January 3, 2024, will be able to claim 20 million dirhams.
