Fiji's New Casino to Exclude Local Residents

The forthcoming casino in Fiji will be off-limits to the local community. Sandeep Singh, the head of the David Group Fiji gambling house project, announced that citizens of the country will not have access to the upcoming establishment.

Singh emphasized the need to address the potential negative impact of gambling on the local population, stating that stringent security protocols would prevent Fijian citizens from entering the casino.

Approval for the new casino was granted by Fiji authorities with the condition that the management would annually allocate an additional $500,000 for sports development. Furthermore, David Group Fiji is obligated to establish an endowment fund to support education, youth development, and social welfare sectors.

Fiji, situated in Oceania in the southwest Pacific Ocean, is an independent state composed of islands, with only a third deemed suitable for habitation.
