A recent report by online gambling publication iGB and fintech company EveryMatrix delves into the preferences of German players when it comes to slot games. The study compares the German market with data from the last three Slot Trumps reports.
The report highlights that the most favored slot themes among Germans include animals (24.7%), fruits (23.8%), and fantasy elements (22.7%). Unlike Romania, the classic theme of online slot machines didn't gain much traction among German players. Free spins emerged as the most popular feature, garnering support from 85% of respondents. On average, German players wager €0.52 per spin, falling between Greece (€0.79) and Colombia (€0.34).
The study reveals that Germans spin the slot reels 59 times per gaming session on average, which is less compared to other players (e.g., Romanians with an average of 109 spins). When it comes to top developers in online gambling, German players named Play’n GO, PragmaticPlay, and Greentube as their favorites.
