Gaming operator Golden Entertainment has received approval to sell its Oak Tree slot machine business, and the proceeds from the sale will be used to revamp the casino. The brand has been acquired by J&J Ventures, with the deal gaining approval from the Nevada Gaming Commission.
The funds generated from the sale will be directed towards significant renovations for Golden Entertainment's restaurants and casinos. The company has committed to supporting gaming operations at its signature taverns in Nevada. Additional proceeds will be allocated to the organization's establishments, including Arizona Charlie's and Strat.
Golden Entertainment owns several gambling establishments, including Lakeside Hotel & Casino, Pahrump Nugget Hotel & Casino, and Gold Town Casino, all located in the city of Pahrump. Despite the town's modest population of 40 thousand people, Golden's gambling houses play a foundational role in the Nevada industry.
