Gun Lake Casino in Canada successfully raised nearly $48,000 for its Toys for Tots campaign, conducted in collaboration with the Lakeshore educational organization. The campaign, which took place from December 1 to 16, aims to purchase gifts for children in need in Ottawa, Allegan, and Van Buren.
Sal Semola, the CEO of the casino, expressed that the annual partnership with the Canadian Marine Corps allows them to bring holiday cheer and gifts to "less fortunate children." Over 300 individuals participated in the campaign, with some families contributing toys. In appreciation, guests received a symbolic gift of $100 or a free slot machine game for each donated toy.
