Malta National Lottery Embraces Cashless Payments with Novovision

The Malta National Lottery has embraced innovative technology from IT solutions developer Novovision, transitioning to non-cash payments for its operations. As the exclusive concessionaire in Malta, the National Lottery boasts a retail network comprising 240 licensed lottery shops.

With the deployment of 56 Novovision ATMs, lottery customers can now make purchases via bank transfer and receive winning payouts seamlessly. These Novovision ATMs offer a suite of modular features designed to enhance business operations and user experience. Among its capabilities, the system includes a single wallet solution catering to both slots and sports betting, complemented by biometric fingerprint recognition for secure authentication.

Franco de Gabriele, Commercial Director of the National Lottery of Malta, emphasized that the integration of the Novovision system aligns with the organization's innovation strategy, marking a pivotal step forward in enhancing customer convenience and operational efficiency.
