MGM Resorts and Playtech are creating an online casino with a real dealer in Las Vegas

MGM Resorts has teamed up with Playtech to introduce a new type of casino format where games will be live-streamed from the MGM Grand and Bellagio hotels in Las Vegas. The games offered include roulette with single and double zeros, as well as baccarat, and will take place in a physical casino setting with real dealers. However, players from outside the US can still participate in betting and winning.

Playtech's CEO, Shimon Akad, mentioned that the main target markets for the new MGM Live casino are Mexico and the UK, with potential plans to expand to the US in the future. The goal is to provide customers with an authentic Las Vegas gaming experience from the comfort of their own homes.

MGM Resorts CEO, Bill Hornbuckle, also hinted at a future where online and physical gaming will be integrated. MGM Live plans to offer a range of exclusive Playtech games, as well as unique entertainment experiences such as celebrity quizzes and branded television shows in Las Vegas.
