The National Council on Problem Gambling (NCPG), as part of its commitment to provide more than $1 million in grants from 2022 to 2024, has awarded $176,000 to five nonprofit organizations. These organizations help address gambling-related problems across the United States.
The grants were awarded to organizations that have developed innovative prevention strategies and are effectively combating the problem. The NFL and other funders, including Fanduel, support these grants.
Two of the five organizations were awarded for their innovative prevention programs. They work with youth using games and the arts to combat gambling addiction. The other three organizations received grants for strengthening prevention. They also work in the area of gambling and help address the problem.NCPG provides a variety of services across the country and supports those with gambling-related problems in a neutral way.
