In a significant move towards promoting responsible gaming practices, the Government of Ontario has announced a landmark investment of $9 million into the Responsible Internet Gaming Foundation (RIGF), to be disbursed over a three-year period. Described as "monumental" by the Financial Post, this investment marks a significant milestone for the Responsible Gaming Council of Canada (RGC).
The infusion of additional funding will empower the RGC to bolster its efforts in consumer education initiatives, expand its outreach programs within communities, and forge partnerships with local organizations dedicated to promoting responsible gaming practices.
