A woman from Daylesford, Victoria, won $60 million dollars in the Powerball drawing. She plans to donate to several charities she supports.
The win was the second largest in 2023 and the largest Powerball jackpot for the month.
The winner didn't initially realize her good fortune, but then found out about her winnings online. Her hubby was also shocked by the event. She revealed that the numbers on her ticket were the birthdays of people close to her and she always played with them.
Going to spend her winnings, she expressed her desire to support charities that help disadvantaged children. There were also seven Division 2 winners in the drawing, each receiving about $155,000.
