A shooting incident took place in close proximity to the Strat Hotel, Casino & SkyPod complex in Las Vegas. The altercation involved four individuals on West Chicago Avenue, leading to an exchange of gunfire when two of them produced firearms. Authorities are currently investigating the origins of the dispute.
Tragically, one participant in the quarrel succumbed to their injuries at the scene, while the remaining three sustained injuries and were promptly transported to Valley Hospital Medical Center. Despite medical efforts, one of the injured individuals could not be saved, and another is presently in critical condition.
Detectives are conducting a thorough examination of the shooting site to ascertain the number of rounds discharged. Law enforcement has not ruled out the possibility of charging the two surviving individuals with illegal possession of weapons and firing in a public area.
