Star Casino Commits to Job Retention Despite Significant Fines

The Australian Star Casino has pledged to retain 3,000 jobs and increase tax payments. The company has committed to keeping these jobs until 2030, with the NSW Government's jobs guarantee in place. Quarterly reports on the number of full-time, part-time, and temporary employees will be submitted by the operator, with a penalty of $25,000 per category for any shortfall in the required workforce. Additionally, staffing ratios will be reported quarterly, and any deviation will result in a $1 million penalty for Star.

Dario Mujkic, the executive director of the United Workers Union, reassures casino workers that their jobs are secure, thanks to this commitment by Star Casino.
