Boyd Gaming Corporation has announced plans for a major renovation of the Suncoast Hotel and Casino located in northwest Las Vegas. The renovation project is expected to span two years, during which the property will be closed to guests.
The primary objective of the renovation is to modernize and revitalize the hotel, enhancing the overall guest experience. The project will involve updating various aspects of the property to give it a more contemporary look and feel.
The renovation will be carried out in stages, with the first phase focusing on the construction of a new betting area, scheduled for completion by the end of summer. Subsequent phases will include the opening of a new bingo hall in 2025 and enhancements to the casino, including new flooring and improved bar facilities. Additionally, a new central bar with 70 seats will be introduced.
Steve Shutt, vice president of Boyd Gaming, has emphasized that nearly every area of the Suncoast Hotel and Casino will undergo updates over the next two years. The renovation aims to position the property for continued success and to meet the evolving needs and preferences of guests.
