Major Swedish gambling companies, Svenska Spel, Kindred Group, and ATG, have released reports detailing their responsible gaming efforts for the year 2023. The reports highlight positive outcomes and a continued commitment to minimizing the negative impact of gambling.
Svenska Spel engaged with 1.9% of players suspected of excessive gambling. Following interventions, over two-thirds of players showing signs of gambling issues decreased their participation. Nearly half of them (49.7%) reduced their betting activities, and 9.4% voluntarily joined the self-exclusion list to block access to gambling.
Similarly, Kindred and ATG reached out to 0.5% and 1.5% of players, respectively, based on suspicions of gambling addiction. The majority of those contacted by the operators demonstrated reduced playing time and smaller wager amounts as a result of the interventions.
