The UK Gambling Commission (UKGC) has introduced new specialists to its industry forum. Formed in 2023, the forum consists of representatives from the gambling sector, providing insights and advice to the regulatory body on crucial aspects of the country's gambling landscape.
The newly appointed members include Tony Boulton, PR and Political Affairs Director at Merkur UK; Christy Caldwell, Director at Betsmart Consulting; Charles Cohen, Founder of Games Global Trust Department; Nigel Roddis, Managing Director at Britbet; and Ashley Padgett, Compliance and Anti-Money Laundering Director at Flutter UK and Ireland.
The initial gathering of the expanded forum is scheduled for March 21, marking an essential step in fostering collaboration and obtaining valuable industry perspectives. Nick Rust, the forum's chairman, acknowledged the challenging task of selecting nine specialists from a pool of over 40 candidates.
