The Yolo Group has joined the International Betting Integrity Association (IBIA) as it prepares to enter the Brazilian market. The operator, with offices in Estonia, Australia, and Malta, is gearing up for a venture into the emerging Brazilian betting market.
As Brazilian authorities gear up to launch sports betting, licensed operators are required to collaborate with regulators, including the IBIA. This has led to an influx of new companies joining the international organization with an interest in entering the Brazilian market.
The IBIA, currently comprising around 50 companies and over 125 leading sports betting brands, plays a significant role in ensuring integrity in the sports betting industry. According to H2 Gambling Capital, member operators under IBIA regulation account for over 60% of online gambling activity in Brazil. Notable recent additions to IBIA include esports betting specialist Oddin.gg and operator Galera.bet.
