Danish company Danske Spil has reported a rise in revenue and net profit for 2023, driven by the growth of its lottery division. The total earnings amounted to 5.04 billion Danish kroner ($739.2 million).
Danske Lotteri Spil saw a record annual figure with revenue reaching 2.87 billion kroner, marking a 2.5% increase. The growth is attributed to the introduction of new games and an additional Eurojackpot draw. However, revenue from other sectors, including sports betting and online casinos, fell by 3% for the year to 1.61 billion crowns.
Danske Spil holds a monopoly on the Danish gambling market and operates as the national organization for gaming in Denmark.
