Flutter Donates 8 Million Pounds to Charity

Flutter Entertainment, the parent company that owns betting shops in Ireland and the UK, has donated up to 8 million pounds sterling to charity. In the month preceding this, its subsidiaries Paddy Power, Sky Betting & Gaming (SBG), and Betfair entered into several important partnership agreements with other companies.

CEO of Flutter, Ian Brown, stated that an additional 250,000 pounds were raised through various events organized by the operator. This, according to Brown, is part of the company’s commitment to maximizing community benefits as part of its positive impact and responsible gaming plan. The funds have been allocated to support healthcare systems and the health of gamers.

Prior to this, Flutter made a financial contribution to the Irish Injured Jockeys Fund. The initial donation was 100,000 pounds sterling, plus an additional 5,000 pounds for each winning jockey who competed in the company’s events — Betfair Chase Day and Randox Grand National.
