Gaming Innovation Group (GiG) has officially announced the acquisition of online casino Casinomeister for $3.3 million. The transaction is expected to be finalized by the end of this month. GiG anticipates that this acquisition will positively impact the company's earnings in the near future.
Under the terms of the purchase agreement, Casinomeister will continue to operate under its existing brand but will fall under GiG Media, similar to how GiG operates AskGamblers, which was acquired in February 2023.
Casinomeister founder Brian Bailey expressed his sentiment about the acquisition, stating, “This business has been my passion. I started it as a hobby. It was just a website in 1998 and has now grown into a successful company. I’ve spent 26 years growing this business and now it’s time to hand over the reins to a dynamic new team that can take it into the future.”
Bailey is confident that GiG will uphold the values and principles that Casinomeister stands for, ensuring a smooth transition and a bright future for the online gaming community. He added, “I am confident that GiG will uphold the values and principles that Casinomeister stands for, ensuring a smooth transition and a bright future for the online gaming community.”
GiG's acquisition of Casinomeister represents a strategic move to strengthen its presence in the online gaming industry and expand its portfolio of media assets.
