In Lithuania, Gambling Industry Revenues Rise

Online Betting Revenue Hits €161 Million - A Major Result for the First Nine Months

iGaming contributed significantly to Lithuania's gross gambling revenue, bringing in €161 million ($172.1 million), which represents 15.2% of the annual total.

According to major Lithuanian lottery operators, their total revenue amounted to €46.3 million, with winnings reaching €55.7 million on tickets sold for €73.9 million.

Online Gambling

The online gambling industry in Lithuania is confidently growing. Compared to 2022, the sector's revenue increased by 24.4%.

Online slots alone generated €72.1 million. In Category A, the figure reached €69.5 million, while in Category B, it was €2.6 million.

However, interest in online sports betting has waned, as evidenced by a revenue decrease to €26.1 million, a 1.1% drop from the previous reporting period.

Growth has also been recorded in the offline market. According to the Lithuanian Gambling Supervisory Authority, this sector brought in €54 million over a nine-month period. Lithuanians are actively using slot machines, while sports betting and table games are less appealing.
