Despite an overall year-over-year decline in sports betting revenue, New Jersey saw an increase in the gambling market for the second month in a row. In June, total income increased by 7.4%.
Combined land-based casino, gaming and sports betting revenues in New Jersey reached $491.0 million (£378.6 million/€450.3 million) for June. This is up from $457.2 million in the same month last year, but down 3.7% and $510 million from May of this year.
Land-based casinos once again generated the most gaming revenue in New Jersey in June. Overall, this segment's profit increased 1.0% to $244.1 million. This included $184.0 million from slots, an increase of 0.6%, and $60.1 million from table games, an increase of 2.5%.
