In February, online sports betting in New York witnessed a decrease in betting volume, with bettors spending $1.77 billion. Although this figure is 20.4% higher than February 2023, it represents a 9.7% decline from January's $1.96 billion and is the lowest monthly amount since September 2023.
Despite the drop in betting volume, net wagering revenue for February increased by 21.3% year-over-year, reaching $131.4 million compared to $108.3 million in 2023. However, this result is 37.9% less than the $211.5 million reported in January.
FanDuel, owned by Flutter Entertainment, maintained its position as the market leader in New York, reporting revenue of $63.4 million out of $720.1 million for February, surpassing other operators in the market.
