Ohio experienced a 3.8% decrease in total sports betting revenue in March, with reported revenue totaling $63.8 million compared to February's $66.3 million.
Compared to March of the previous year, Ohio's total sports betting revenue saw a notable decline of 33.1%, dropping from $95.3 million to $63.8 million. This marks the third month since the launch of the state's sports betting market.
Taxable revenue amounted to $64 million after payouts totaling $738.8 million and a $22.5 million write-off for promotions. Notably, online wagering accounted for the majority of the revenue, with $784.8 million, or 97.1% of the total, attributed to online trading out of the $808.2 million total.
