Pennsylvania's Total Gambling Revenue Reaches $525.5 Million

In August, Pennsylvania's total gambling revenue soared to $525.5 million, marking a 14.9% increase compared to the previous year and a 4.9% rise from July of this year. Another impressive statistic for August was the revenue from online casinos, which totalled $183.7 million—an increase of 29% from 2023. This figure ranks as the second-highest monthly revenue ever recorded, with the record standing at $191.1 million, set in March 2024.

Breaking it down, online slots contributed $138.3 million to the overall gambling revenue, while table games generated $43.2 million, and poker added $2.2 million for the month. Regarding sports betting, gross revenue hit $45.4 million, reflecting a 48.4% increase from last year, although this is a 13.9% decline from July. Among gambling operators in the state, FanDuel and DraftKings continue to lead the market.
