
Spain's 4Q Online Gambling Revenues Reach €315.3 Million
In the fourth quarter of 2023, online gambling revenues in Spain surged to €315.3 million ($342 million). Analysts note a slight increase compared to the same period in 2022, with a 0.6% growth in earnings.
The primary contributor to the country's gambling industry revenue was online casinos, generating €171.3 million. This accounts for 54.3% of the total revenue in the Spanish gambling and betting market. Notably, revenue from slot machines and roulette also experienced growth, increasing by 25.9% and 15.3%, respectively.
Total deposits into online casino accounts reached €1.04 billion during the fourth quarter, marking a 9.4% rise from the same period in 2022. The average monthly number of active gaming accounts increased by 6.8% compared to 2022.
