A Hague Resident Was Convicted Of Stealing Lottery Tickets

A 30-year-old Hague resident received a six-month prison sentence for pilfering multiple TOTO lottery tickets.

From mid-March to mid-August 2023, he managed to steal lottery tickets, €10 thousand worth, in 11 cases of hustle. While staff served the customers, the robber swiped the tickets off the shelves of the store. Once caught red-handed by a worker, he hit the woman and ran away.

The man confessed to stealing TOTO lottery tickets in court, expressed regret for doing so, and laid the blame for his unfortunate financial situation. In addition to 120 hours of community service, he received a probationary period of 125 days during his sentence.
