A store saleswoman in Belarus has been prohibited from visiting a casino and engaging in gambling activities by a Belarusian court. The decision follows the theft of 5,000 Belarusian rubles from the store's cash register, with the woman using the funds to play an online gambling application.
The court emphasized that the woman, who is raising four children and dealing with utility bill debts, had jeopardized her family's financial stability by spending most of her earnings on gambling activities. Over a two-year period, the woman stole a total of 13,000 Belarusian rubles from the store, some of which was used for online gambling. The court imposed a three-year ban on her gambling activities.
