The European Forum of Gambling Regulators (GREF) and the North American Association of Gambling Regulators (NAGRA) have announced a partnership aimed at strengthening ties across both continents.
The collaboration involves hosting joint events, conferences, and workshops. The partnership will bring together about a hundred operators from Europe and North America.
Isabelle Falque-Pierrotin, Chair of GREF and head of the French regulatory body Autorité Nationale des Jeux, stated that intercontinental cooperation is crucial for supporting gambling in countries. She noted that society is increasingly concerned about the risks associated with excessive advertising of the gambling business, so the partnership will allow for better consumer protection.
NAGRA comprises federal, state, and municipal government institutions responsible for regulating gambling in North American markets. GREF brings together gambling operators from European countries to exchange views on issues related to gambling entertainment.
