In India, Gambling Addict Arrested for Stealing 12 Bicycles
A 30-year-old gambling addict was apprehended in India for stealing 12 bicycles in four months, according to senior police station inspector Rajesh Kewale.
The accused stored the stolen bicycles near his residence with the intention of finding buyers to fund his online gambling habit. The individual, previously employed as a courier, resorted to theft due to his gambling addiction, spending the proceeds on online gambling and sports betting.
Gupta admitted to having stolen bicycles and motorcycles in the past, selling them to finance his gambling activities.
