Major online gambling operator Kindred Group is currently entangled in legal proceedings in Sweden. Renowned fashion designer and Odd Molly founder, Per Holknekt, has accused the organization and its subsidiary Spooniker Ltd of contributing to a "gaming addiction that has gotten out of control."
Holknekt disclosed to Swedish media that he had spent a total of £8.7 million across 30 different gambling companies before filing the lawsuit. He alleged spending over €2.3 million specifically on Kindred-controlled Unibet.
While acknowledging the legal summons, Kindred Group's management opted not to provide comments or statements regarding the situation or the ongoing lawsuit.
