Peruvian Authorities Grant Licensing Authority to Asensi Technologies and eCOGRA
Peru's Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism has authorized Asensi Technologies and eCOGRA as B2B companies to issue gaming certificates within the country. Asensi management considers the launch in Latin America as a significant accomplishment, with CEO Aurora Merino Salas expressing the organization's dedication to complying with local regulatory standards.
eCOGRA is set to test and certify Peruvian companies specializing in online gambling. After establishing an office in Colorado, the organization's services are now accessible in 38 jurisdictions worldwide.
Peru becomes the third South American country, following Colombia and Argentina, to regulate online gambling. As per the law, all operators offering online gambling and betting must submit license applications by March 13th.
