Kindred to Replace Advertising Logo on Football Club Shirts with Charity Foundation Symbol

Middlesbrough's primary sponsor, Kindred Group, intends to swap out the team's badge on its uniform for the MFC Foundation emblem, which is the logo of a charitable foundation connected to the club. 'Foundation' will now appear on the front of the shirts in place of Kindred's firm name, along with the MFC emblem, which usually secures this important advertising space.

The MFC Foundation works mostly with young people in Britain's Teesside region. It funds the initiatives related to healthcare, education, and sports in Middlesbrough, the football team's home city.

Kindred thinks that making the foundation more visible will improve the nonprofit's operations. Most notably, the company sponsors the MFC initiative "Think With Your Feet," which arranges sports-friendly get-togethers for impoverished young men to play football and interact with each other.
