Lottery.com Acquires SportLocker, Set to Rebrand as Sports.com
Lottery technology broker Lottery.com has announced the acquisition of sports streaming site SportLocker, intending to rename it Sports.com. The financial details of the deal have not been disclosed, facilitating an immediate rebranding process.
SportLocker has been associated with Saudi Arabia's expanding sports initiatives, with prior plans to acquire clubs for sponsorship and forge media partnerships, particularly in British football and the US Major League Soccer (MSL).
The rebranded Sports.com platform will initially launch in the US and Europe, focusing its efforts on the Middle East. The project aims to amalgamate sports news, live broadcasts, and thematic documentaries. Despite Lottery.com's ties to gambling, it remains unclear whether sports betting will be integrated into the Sports.com site.
